The competition for Best Haircut, this year, will be held in the Main Hall on Tuesday 1st August.
Applications for entries must be received at the Durer Towers head office after lunch on Monday 31st July (4 pm).
There will be several categories, which will be confirmed, during lunch on 31st July; as will be the winners.

Is that the MANE hall, AD?
l would like to offer my services as ‘judge’ for this competition. l have 55yrs experience as a hairstylist. And in that time have gained expert knowledge in many ‘genres’ of hairdo’s. To put a good cut and style to the test - you need a power washer to blast it - then a turbine fan to blast it - and a good cut will bounce back to show how durable it is - or not - as often people end up bald - or looking like AD!!
l also clip horses/ponies - The problem with pony tails is that there is always an ar$ehole under it!!

Thats the day Halifaxs wonderful Piece Hall is re-opening after being closed for a huge make over, for 3 years!
I will be there, so cant enter the hair composition.
Why not look up… The Piece Hall Halifax …on google?
It is the only cloth hall of it`s kind left in existance!
It`s an Italian style piazza of Grade 1 listing.
I worked there for 9 years, as Senior Tourist Information assistant. Loved it!
