I feel so washed out with a UTI which was confirmed by my GP last week. Blue lighted to hospital on Sunday with suspected sepsis. Given IV antibiotics and now home with more oral antibiotics. I’m dizzy, not hungry at all and exhausted but I can’t sleep. Worst of all my legs are so weak and keep giving out on me. How long should I expect to be like this?
I’m trying to get rid of a cellulitis infection on my leg. It’s been going on for over a month now, with the first 11 days in hospital with IV antibiotics. I’m about to be given another 7-day course tomorrow.
Unfortunately, my symptoms are just like yours, though possibly the leg weakness could be due to lack of exercise? Don’t know about you but I just don’t feel like moving around. I’ve had cellulitis previously and before MS took hold of me but this time recovery seems to be much slower.
