I’ve read that you don’t always get posts published straightaway. I’ve been a member for 40 weeks or more and this is my third attempt…so hopefully I can then get talking to people. I’m dying to have interaction with people in the same boat as myself. It’s such a relief to talk and get answers back! Either that or I’m doing all this wrong cos of my MS brain lol…that has happened many times and may be the case now. Hope to sort this soon xx
Hello Beverly Welcome Hope you’ve had a good Easter weekend? xx
Check your profile Beverly!! Someone did answer one of your threads
Hello! I am useless with getting my head round technology lol. Thankyou for replying. Easter was spent in bed :s I got a stomach bug or something. So I’m having easter today (aka eating lots of chocolate ). How was yours? Xx
It was a quiet weekend for us Beverly.
Have you been diagnosed with MS?
Noreen
I gave chocolate up for Lent, but had some dark chocolate last night to celebrate Easter. I woke up really hot in the night, fell out of bed trying to reach the remote control for my tower fan, and have stiffness in my right leg like I’ve not had in ages. Never again. It’s not worth it. Heather
Hi Bev and welcome to the forum…40 weeks late!
Dunno why your previous posts didnt appear…?
I have eaten 3 cadbury`s cream egg easter eggs this week…yummmmmy!
So, what`s your ms doing to you?
luv pollx
Hi Beverly and welcome
We are hearing you loud and clear now so we can chat whenever you want.
This is going to sound really odd but I hate the taste of chocolate. Shortbread and strawberry custard (like we used to have at school) is my weakness. Shame you can’t make easter bunnies out of shortbread.
Look forward to chatting with you.
Shazzie x
Thanks Boudica and Shazzie I am quite partial to shortbread biscuits, I think I’ve munched my way through at least 3 packets lately
my MS symptoms are getting on my nerves. Yesterday my left arm was dead, yet achey, my brain feels foggy, sore and what I call ‘wormy’ as it feels like it’s wriggly :s I hate the lethargy of it. I’ve got in touch with my OT to see if I can get a scooter so I can get out more. Sounds daft but, if I drive, it takes so much concentration that I’m too tired to get out and walk after it, so I don’t drive that often anymore, but I’d like to go to town on a scooter and get about without wiping myself out. Some days are better than others as you know. I’ll be glad when I’m put in Tysabri. At the moment I’m on Humira for Crohns Disease, and they don’t want to take me off that as my crohns is quite bad without it. I had surgery 2 years ago for it and not long after that I got bad with this. Though if I think about it, I think I’ve had the symptoms coming on for a long time.hope you are both well and thanks for the replies xx
Hi Bev welcome I not put many posts on here but thught I would say Hi and hope you had good Easter. I had a good easter but done a lot of work regretting it now. xx
