I am just about to start taking copaxone I was on rebif but had to come of it.I just wondered if anyone could tell me if I need to take icepacks with copaxone like I had to with rebif I will be flying from scotland to Tenerife it takes about 4 hours there will be a fridge in hotel .

Hi Anne, As far as I know, Copaxone will be stable at room temperature for up to 28 days. I take my injection out of the fridge at night and leave it on the sideboard by the kettle so I remember to do it each morning! So it’s a bit more convenient to take places compared to some of the other DMDs

I have just got back from Lanzarote and travelled with copaxone. I didn’t take icepacks with me. I didn’t even store my copaxone in the fridge as the bedroom in the villa was very cool. Hope you have a lovely time. Temps in Lanzarote were lovely,between 22 and 25 degrees.
Btw I was also on rebif before copaxone and I find copaxone suits me much better.

The literature says it can be stored for 7 days at normal room temp, any longer in the fridge Greg
