Taking Frazer to Glasgow

We are off to Glasgow later today…Me Frazer and Isabelle my youngest daughter, i’m nearly packed and I’ve booked travel assistance, so hopefully it should go okay. Lee’s shown me how to take the batteries off my chair so it will fold up to go in the back of my sons car when he picks me up from the train station…I must admit i take all of this for granted, usually Lee does everything and having a hoist i never thought about it …lets hope i remember how to put it back together, or that will be a disaster and those batteries… they are so heavy although my son will be doing all the lifting.

Have a nice time Michelle, has Frazer ever been before? I have heard dogs find Scottish Dogs very hard to understand, it’s the language English Dogs need special barking lessons.

Enjoy your time away XXX Don

Have a lovely time Michelle.

Don’t worry about Frazer in Scotland. He’s a Golden Retriever isn’t he? They are a Scottish breed of dog so he will be going to visit family! He will be wearing a kilt and eating deep fried mars bars with the best of them!

Thanks everyone for your messages, I had a wonderful time i went on Friday and came back on Sunday so it wasn’t long enough, but it was fabulous and i feel really good for doing it . I must admit I was scared, but id booked travel assistance, and it all went reasonably well except for a small blip in Frodsham when the guard was a bit slow getting the ramp, Frodsham is an unmanned station and i seriously thought that i as going to be left behind. Now i’m back home i feel completely wiped out, i think it will take a while to recover, but I’ll definitely go again.

That’s great Michelle.

Today I went to Deal on the train. There were three changes but it went very smoothly. It took forever though. There was a time when I didn’t have a car and took the train to go and teach in Froddy. That station could be very bleak in the winter.

Glad you had a good time.

Hello again Steve, I struggle to get down that narrow corridor on the train I’ve got better at it but its so hard to get a turn if people have their luggage in the way. I think my chair plus Frazer makes quite a wide load. and sometimes i get scared that they will forget to get the ramp to get me off. How do you find it ?
