We are going to Glasgow tonight to see Jamie and Jonathan & Jenna my 2 son’s and daughter in law. I’m busy finishing the packing and Christine my carer is sorting out my kitchen. I’ve booked wheelchair assistance so hopefully I’ll be okay. Me Isabelle and Frazer are getting the train after school. I’m a bit nervous my chair is still playing up, the new one has been delayed till the 9th of February. But I have a plan…I’m taking my charger and will be plugging it in on the train…Let’s hope the power doesn’t get sucked out of the train. …otherwise it will be the slowest vigin train ever. Michelle and Frazer xx
Tartan collar for Fraser then! Back to the land of his Golden Retreiver ancestors. Have a wonderful time.
Hope you all have a fantastic time, and the chair behaves itself, stay safe.

Hello Michelle.
Is it Virgin West Coast?
They do have charging points but I’m yet to find one by the wheelchair space. There’s usually a plug opposite but you’ll be setting up a trip wire which could be amusing but not very popular. I’m only talking from experience of Euston to Lime Street.
Anyway I hope you have a brilliant time. I always find train journeys exciting.
Best wishes, Steve.
Thank you everyone. We are back now. It was a flying visit and we had a fantastic time. I’ve felt exhausted today and as if iv’e just got off a roundabout, but i kind of knew that would happen. I’m not doing much today, the dizzy giddy feeling has made me feel sick.
Steve i was lucky the plug was right next to the wheelchair you just had to lift the flap…although it did say this is for lap tops and mobile phones only…I took a chance and plugged it in and no one mentioned it. However Frazer was a trip hazard we were sat near the train cafe on the way there and he was very unsettled when people came past. Oh and the only minor disaster was on the way home when i backed up further against the wall and heard a beeping noise…id only pressed the emergency alarm, the one you get in trouble for if its not an emergency…i heard a voice asking me if i was okay an did i have an emergency. I was mortified…thankfully we didn’t get thrown off the train.

Have a great time XXX

Thanks Michelle.
I found the plug next to my wheelchair space. There was no sweating about my phone running out of battery. It’s never an issue, I mean I’m not even sure where it is or if it’s even switched on but I need my music on the train; oh and in case of emergency.
Best wishes, woof, Steve. x
Oh brilliant Steve, you didn’t charge your wheelchair up like me then? but at least you know where it is if ever you need it…next time you could bring your microwave and do some of your fantastic recipes eh.
Did you have a good time seeing all your friends and relations…Ideas for another of your blogs Steve ??

Hello Michelle.
The blog is out there. It took all day yesterday to do it and even my good hand started to crumble. Such is the heroic sacrifice of the serial blogger.
