Supplements and Briumvi

Hello,

I have been looking into supplements specifically magnesium and was wondering if anyone knows if this is ok to take? I’ve seen it’s good for fatigue and may also help the pain and tension I get from endometriosis. Also whether taking omega-3s will help for this too.

I’m on briumvi as my DMT but can’t seem to find much. My MS nurse told me a standard multivitamin is ok, just wondered about other supplements. they’ve told me to contact them with any questions, but I feel bad to ask about this as I know how busy they are

Thanks, Naomi

I have been taking magnesium glycinate for years and found it solved my problem with restless legs. Also, it can help to ease spam & cramp, so useful if you have those problems.
You would need to cut out a lot of food sources to avoid magnesium and is a beneficial mineral, so no harm in trying.

Hi Naomi. I agree with @whammel . Magnesium is in lots of foods and taking extra isnt going to do any harm at all.

there is a lot to be said for all people with MS taking omega 3 supplements and eating more ‘oily’ fish and foods rich in omegas

Thanks both for your replies. I don’t eat fish so have always considered taking an omega 3 supplement

You are obviously familiar with this study, but think it deserves to be in the conversation.
