Sudden tremor

I’ve not really noticed it before apart from once when I was holding my sisters Ipad for too long my thumb started jerking and my hand was shaking. This seemed to last a good few hours and afterwards my hand felt like it wasn’t steady but to look at it was.The only other time my strengths gone weird was when I’d been golfing for an hour. I came home lifted a kettle of water and my hand just went. Luckily I didn’t drop it the water just splashed everywhere and I managed to set it down my hand felt internally shaky but didn’t look to shake. Well today I almost dropped a cup of hot water with my L hand - didn’t think too much. Then I was draining the pasta and dropped the saucepan so all the pasta landed in the sink and now I’ve just sat down to do some work at the PC lifted my drink with my L hand and noticed I have a tremor. Strangily enough the more strain I put (the higher I lift the glass) the worse the tremor becomes). It’s very weird. Anyone else had anything like this?

I’ve been feeling actually very very good and even some of the residual issues I had with my bladder were sort of subsiding and barely there. I’m not sure what this means - whether I’ve just over done it …or?

if the tremor gets worse when you reach out or extend your arm it could be bening intentional tremor, I have similar problems, does the trmor stop if you grip something?

not sure whether you dx or not, me not just something I read on here.

Hello Reemz xxx

I sometimes get a really bad tremor in my leg - most noticeable when I try to press the accelerator - it just goes nuts!!

As for my hands I have experienced it before but don’t tend to get it unless I try to do things like peel potatoes - needless to say my hubby is the Spud Boss in this house!

Keep an eye on it - keep a record of it & when it’s happening - and mention it when you see your doc xxxxxxjenxxxx

Thank you Andy

I’m a ?MS or at least central nervous system inflammation. I’ve had two episode of symptoms with non-specific lesions on my MRI and minimal sensory disturbance on the neuro exam. So it’s enough to be conclusive but it’s looking like MS is a big possibility - we’re just waiting for something new or changes on my scan or nothing at all for a long time if I’m very lucky.

I’m not sure if the tremor stops when I grip something - Yesterday I was holding my cup but I guess I wasn’t gripping it hard? It seems to have subsided slowly. So maybe I did just overdo yesterday.

MS is so unpredictable it’s difficult to know.

Thank you for your comment

Hi Jen

Thank you for your comments.

It seemed fine after a while yesterday so maybe I’d just over done it! Good excuse to get husband on peeling duty! I should try it with my other half! And no lifting IPADs and heavy things I guess for me perhaps.

Will definitely make a note. Thankyou

Reemz
