strange senations/numbness in my feet

Hello everyone,

It’s been a long time. I hope everyone is as well as they can be.

I have a question because I’m a bit worried and if I’m honest a bit scared.

Over the last week or more, I have had the strangest sensations in my feet. It’s as if they have been frozen and the life is just coming back into them. They feel swollen and distorted though they aren’t. Accompanying this I have numblike patches in my legs which seem to move about i.e. different places day to day.

Up until now I have been so fortunate but I am fearful this may be the beginning of a downward decline. I have also recently been diagnosed with tri-geminal neuralgia. Am I just having an MS episode or relapse?

I know there is little to be done but I guess I’m looking for a bit of reassurance and understanding.

Wishing you all well

Tx

hi T

sounds ike a relapse to me.

get in touch with your ms nurse asap.

are you taking a DMD?

if not, this may be the time to start one.

numb feet were my first symptom and 8 years on i can’t remember what not-numb feet feel like.

now tuck up warm and cosy and rest.

Hi Carole, thanks for responding. No i’m not on any medication at all. I have been in touch with my MS nurse but after a week I’m still waiting for her to get back to me. She’s crazy busy, massive work load and bottom line is I know there isn’t anything that she can really do except confirm my fears and perhaps reassure me. I will just have to wait this out I guess. I am stupidly exhausted so all the pointers are there.

peace and sunshine
