Still on a diet

Hello folks.

Over the past 18 months I’ve lost 38 pounds. That’s two stone ten pounds.

The worst bit was getting past the 2 stone bit. I know some others have felt frustrated about getting past the 2 stone and I think it’s the hardest part for me up to now. I don’t know what I did but I varied my food types. I’d have some carb days with home made bread some pulse days, some protein days and some vegetable days. I’m still avoiding pasta and potatoes and have fruit for breakfast. Maybe my northern frenzy of pie and chips helped.

Last week I bought a block of tofu-watch this space.

Best wishes, Steve.

So impressed Steve.I lost just under 2 stone a few yr back but managed to put it back on because i have a sweet tooth.

Going to try again very soon.I have no willpower these days, though.I found it hard going and it was very slow between 1lb and 2lb a week due to me not been able to exercise.

Don’t speak to me about diets. Been on a diet for 5 weeks and have really stuck to it but for the last two weeks I have not lost anything. I will try it for another week and if I stay the same again I will have to cut back further.

Got so many reasons to lose weight, health, have a wedding to go to in July and my daughters wedding next year and I really don’t want to buy a size bigger.

I have used the same diet at various times throughout the years and I have always lost the weight but not this time. It’s so disheartening.

Ah well, onwards and upwards.

Good on you Steve. I’m well impressed.

Well done Steve!!

Ive just managed to lose just over a stone but I’m getting to the point now that when I weigh myself each week I’m not budging, I like to tell myself that it means I’ve reached my optimum weight but it probably just means I need to try harder!

So sorry to read on another of your posts that you been having such a tough time.

Take care,

Well done Steve and everyone else for losing weight. I’m trying too but I’ve not followed any particular diet I’ve just not eaten as much and since Lee makes a lot of the meals I just have a smaller potion but with salad I’ve not got a lot to lose but me and Rochelle are competing against each other she has to lose baby weight from the twins and mine is from my age after 40 it’s harder and I’m 51. My main reason is vanity since being in the wheelchair I care more about how I look i try to have my hair done and wear the right clothes I haven’t got lots of money to buy new Things but even a new scarf can make an outfit look nice. Unfortunately what ever I wear I’m always covered in Fraser’s hair. Michelle and Frazer xx

Well done Steve and everyone else, I really need to loose some weight. I saw a photo of me earlier today from a picnic three years ago and I only had one chin, now have three. I want to become chinless.

Surely you’d like to be mono-mentimular?

That’s the medical name for the single chin. Or do you want to be a chinless wonder?

It’s just gone 3.30 on a bright sunny afternoon. I have just risen from the pit and I have nothing better to do than make tea and engage in creative badinage. That’s a posh way of saying ar$ing around.

Where are my pills?

Best wishes.

Sh*t, I’ve just read that as creative “bondage”! I really am going to have to get my eyes checked.
