Spaghetti Bolognese lifted.

Good morning all. I couldn’t wait to share this one with you.

I had some fresh coriander in this week which I love. Gradually I’ve used the leaves in things and this morning was about to throw the stalks in the bin.

“LIGHT BULB MOMENT”

Lunch, half an hour ago - normal spaghetti bolognese - to which I added my usual garlic, dried chilli, mushroom - and I chopped the coriander stalks into it.

Oh, what a difference! It’s one of those meals that just so lovely.

I can’t imagine ground coriander would come close, but this is really worth it.

hi mark

a lot of the tv chefs use the coriander stalks so you’re in good company.

your posts always make me hungry.

Hi Mark,

That’s strange, why did I think you were vegetarian? I know about the gluten-free, and you’ve definitely posted about fish before, but for some reason I thought you abstained from meat. Or does “normal” spag bol, for you, mean a veggie version?

Hi T. I’ve never been vegetarian, always a meat eater but I rarely eat meat. Maybe that’s why you thought I was veggie.

Last night I had a chicken masala along with that Bhindi Bhajee.

Red meat I hardly ever eat.
