Hi everyone, I hope you are well.
I woke up in the night with pains in my back and front arond the rib area. I do have ms hug regularly but this felt different. Amitriptyline didn’t work, neither did Gabapentin, I then tried Codydrymal, which helped me to sleep.
This morning I woke up pain free but spasms are all over the place, particularly my hands. I had to go back to bed as I felt so sick and tired. My balance is terrible and have fallen over a couple of times.
I think this could be a relapse but am concerned about the pains, whilst typing this out (very slowly) I realise I do need to see the doctor next week, to put my mind at rest, taking so many drugs could be affecting my organs.
Also it could be a tummy bug.

I’m sorry your feeling so unwell…its good your planing to see the doctor next week.
Like you say, it could be something totally unrelated to the ms.
Is it possible you could ring and book a phone call with your doctor today for chat? That’s what I’ve actually done myself this morning…just waiting for a ring back. I too am on quite an assortment of medication and feel my current problem is drug related.

Thank you for your reply, I’m feeling a bit better now but keep throwing my cups and glasses on the floor. It would be funny if it wasn’t so annoying. Also have slept on and off all day.
I will try and see my doctor on Monday,
