Hi Guys please excuse this rant but i feel so annoyed, i fell over the other day hitting my head badly whilkst i was dazzed someone picked me up and as they did stole my mobile phone…( no i didnt drop it as it was in my pocket so could not of fallen out)…whats this world coming to
Oh Mac that is terrible. How can someone do that. Similar happened to me but it was my purse that disappeared. I have now attached cat bells to it so I can tell if anyone tries to take it. Doesn’t help you though. Have you told the Police and were there any CCTV cameras around that may have captured it. Chin up there are still some lovely kind people out there and hopefully someone will be able to restore your faith in your fellow man by showing a simple kindness. Do hope you are feeling better if a little battered and bruised. I am a great believer in what goes around comes around. The thief will get their come uppance.
OH Mac how bloody awful. Honestly… what heartless B did that! Like in the London riots when those men ‘helping’ that bloke were actually stealing from his rucksack. Have you reported to police? I think you should. I always wear a ‘bum bag’ (though I hate the name for it!) when out on mobility scooter… but then again if there was a chance of getting hurt I would hand my purse over. When I lived in San Francisco joggers used to carry ‘muggers money’… ten dollars in pocket so if they were mugged they wouldn’t be beaten up for not having money on them. Awful. Well you didn’t get hurt Mac so that’s important… if you use Twitter I would tweet what happened. Sort of thing that gets retweeted and might make some heartless so-and-so feel ashamed! Take care and keep in mind that MOST people would never dream of doing something like that. Pat xx
That’s so dreadful! I’m not surprised you feel the need to rant. I’d probably feel the need to lash out (oh, then I’d remember that I couldn’t catch up!)
It’s something that crossed my mind the other day actually, that I was now more vulnerable than I used to be, I hate that.

Oh Mac thats disgraceful, some of the things what people do just beggars belief.
Definitely report it to the police, I know they cant get it bwck for you, but it lets them know what is happening in a particular area.
These sick people who do things like that need to remember what goes around, comes around.

That’s really awful Mac. I’ve become aware that I’m more vulnerable now too but never imagined that someone would steal from a person in that way. I’m also a firm believer in “what you give out, you’ll get back” but that doesn’t help much when you’re a victim. I wonder if it’d be wise to keep debit and credit cards separately from cash in a discrete card holder as I keep everything including driving license in my purse and its dreadful trying to replace everything. Hope you’ve got over it all now.
