Wot,
Legless, Headless & Guilded, sounds like a firm of solicitors from East Cheam
We realise how fortunate we are. If we had not spent loads of money on frequent regular visits while we lived in Sussex maybe we could have afforded to live in the forest rather than just outside!
It is so nice Nik’s horse is at a stable within the forest so she can ride straight into the forest with no road work and some of the paths are good enough for me to join in on my scooter. The flip side is that on sunny bank/school holidays everywhere is rammed with visitors. M
Strange that - there’s all sorts of charlatans, quacks (and I don’t mean ducks), frauds and fly by nights come from East Cheam. I suspect they all went to a ‘school’ (den of thieves) run by a ‘person’ we know!
Yesterdays treat was to visit Mottisfont gardens with my sister and brother in law. The flowers were lovely and we followed them up with ice creams too.
The flowers are beauties. I bet the ice creams were too!

I wish I’d taken photos of my peonies while they were blooming. Mine are a cream color, but I have 3 different patches of them around the yard. It’s wonderful that you have so many lovely places to visit!
And this is for Mick. I have spent the last week trying to get photos of my hummingbirds, and all I can get is the empty feeder!
On a good note, I got to watch a Northern Flicker this morning! They’re supposed to be common around here, but this is the first I’ve seen in years.
I have a vast number of “empty” shots and I have never tried to take pictures of anything as fast as a hummingbird. If anything that vivid turned up I’d be too busy watching!

OH WOW those are beautiful.
In my garden these are my favorites…(not mine at the moment but they look like this when they flower). Gazania.
These are lovely. My wife has put some similar flowers in our little garden

You will not believe who came to visit and express disgust at our garden gnomes… Luckily Nikki grabbed a phone-shot.
Obviously a juvenile deer, doesn’t appreciate the attractions a gnome has for a middle aged human. Philistag!!
Sue (wishes she had deer coming to visit!)
