Hello everybody,
This is my first post! I have PPMS, having been diagnosed in February this year. My legs are getting increasingly uncomfortable, I am experienceing numbess and pins and needles preventing me from sleeping. It affects the full length of both legs. I take Baclafen for mild spacticity at night - has anyone else experienced these new symptons and if so how do you deal with them?

I’m probably not too helpful here as I don’t really get pins & needles and my numb patch more or less stays the same. BUT I do take amitriptyline to help me sleep tho, as I can get a bit twitchy and I get odd sensations in my hands sometimes.
I’ve just swapped from Baclofen to Tizanidine but that’s more for walking, the spasticity doesn’t really interrupt my sleep.
So maybe ask about amitriptyline or something along those lines if you’re having disturbed sleep. I understand it’s what they usually offfer for nerve pain so maybe that’d deal with the pins & needles?
