people on avonex new drug plegridy

I have been to see my local consultant today as copaxone is causing big skin problems and allergic reactions. He talked about bg12 but has concerns over safety at the moment until there is longer term data and although they wilk offer to patients is definetly not pushing it. He mentioned a new injectable plegridy a form of avonex which is evert 2 weeks about to come on the market and said this has less risk and might be worth trying first. As anyone heard of this or could give ideas of how they find avonex as I had almost given up the idea of injections and was looking at oral drugs. Thanks zoe
