Hi everyone I have been on copaxone for a couple of months now getting used to the daily injections and no side affects yesterday on speaking to my nurse she started talking about bg12 which she thinks might suit me better than copaxone I just wondered if anyone has had any experience of this medication I am a bit scared about the side affects.I am in scotland and bg12 is not been licensed yet but they expect it to be quite soon.

So any help anybody can give me would be great.

Hi Anne

I am awaiting for BG12 to be licenced also. It was my consultant that suggest this oral drug as the Avonex injection is no longer working for me. Cant wait for it to be licenced as i hate the injection. I think it has just been licenced in England& Wales, but maybe wrong. Apparently the side effects are minimal. I have been using Avonex for 4 years now and still get the Flu symptoms. Sorry i cant say anything about what is like yet.
