Bring more if you like.
My cooking sherry must have evaporated in the bottle because there doesn’t seem to be much left, but what’s there’s for sharing and welcome. For cheese, I offer Vasterbottensost, which sounds like a not-quite-extinct volcano but which is in fact a Swedish delicacy. Cheers!
Merry Christmas it’s a really great virtual party love everyones suggestions. Bailys for me. Perhaps my w/c driving improves??
motown girl so anything xmassy but twiglets yuk!!! Micks lap tap & pole I think would be amazing to watch. Have a jolly Christmas
eat drink & be merry cake X
Glad to be of service! They ain’t what they used to be (Ian Anderson’s voice has gone to something that will be removed by the moderator - but when I first got into them, as a teenager, I was blown away by them and their complicated music. "Seven maids dance in seven time " - it wasn’t just a poetic description. Saw them live a couple of times, and was even more impressed!
sounds like some good concerts. I recently saw some Youtube stuff with a scandinavian flautist watching some 1970s IA crazy flute stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKSrq_qjB_Y
lap, tap & pole, followed by a brief visit to A&E. Prior to my MS my dancing was appalling, one of the few benefits of my MS is that I actually have a genuine reason not to dance. My poor wife who is a disco diva really missed out. Whenever I shake my blubber, she can not help giggling
oh dear
Cheese of all kinds is most welcome. Mr Sssue and I have just pigged out on Gorgonzola for lunch!!
Sammi and anyone else uncertain of the rules for the MSS Forum virtual party will find that bringing virtually anything is allowed. (Even American ‘cheese’!) Or nothing. Don’t feel constrained by what you actually have in the house. Or what alcohol you are actually capable of drinking these days. Fibbing is not only allowed, it’s endorsed.
Music of all kinds is appreciated. Even Christmas music (personally all Xmas music is anathema to me, but each to his or her own as we don’t actually have to listen to each other’s choices!)
Tap, lap and pole dancing is allowed if not precisely encouraged. Wheelchair dancing is allowed and actively encouraged (although I suspect Bouds has more experience at such so I feel declining the partnership offer might be wise - manual wheelchair dancing is rather difficult and different to powerchair!).
I’d forgotten Matchsticks, how I wish I’d remembered them while shops were open. It’s only this time of year that chocolate is allowed on the shopping list. Drat it.
If anyone actually has any frozen sausage rolls in their house (or is willing to pretend for my sake), I’d be very virtually grateful.
Just for that, Ssssue, I’m bringing the American cheese and going to feed it to Mick. After the moonshine, he’ll never notice.
CC doesn’t think my family can eat 10 pounds (4 1/2 kg) of meatballs, so please, Everybody, take seconds! i just want the European cheeses. But I can also now offer a frozen (but pre-cooked) ham. My daughter expects me to cook it for tomorrow, and she never took it out of the freezer!
I found this on a Wiki page " invented there in the 1870s, supposedly by a dairy maid, sv:Ulrika Eleonora Lindström. According to legend, she was left alone to stir the curd of a traditional cheese but was interrupted, either by other chores or an assignation with her lover."
I love the idea of a distracted triple barreled dairy maid.

I have no idea what sausage rolls are, but I’d love an all butter shortcrust pastry! Sue, I think you’ll be the hit of this party. Please divert the relatives quickly.
