Hi all Still waiting to get neuro appt and keeping eye on ’ symptoms ’ until then which have wax and waned over 7 weeks. Along with altered sensations i was getting strange sensation in foot as if i could feel blood rushing throughout it. Wasnt strong enough to describe as vibration but its now developed into this. Its fairly annoying/disconcerting as feel its another nail in the ’ likely ’ coffin. However. Its been happening of and on for last 24 hours. It buzzes…then stops. This is recurrent so would this mean its paroxysmal or is it how symptoms would normally present.
Hi
All aspects of what you are experiencing are relevant and are worth mentioning to your neuro.
MS, being a disease of the central nervous system, includes a lot of weird stuff which is what can make you feel you’re going mad.
my neuro enjoyed my descriptions and said that he has heard patients struggle to explain what they are feeling.
I prefer to see it as an electrical fault.
If your house needs a rewire, it would cause lots of things to go on the blink.
my son had just qualified as an electrician when i got my diagnosis.
I showed him a booklet on RRMS and after reading it said that it looked like a fuse would be blown!
so note down all symptoms for your neuro appointment.
then try to focus on something else because constantly thinking of what is going wrong gets your head stuck!

Hi Carol
Thanks.
Think I will be ok re descriptors as to some degree it’s probably quite ‘classic’ in description. Just trying to work out if the buzzing would be a symptom and if so , what type. Trying not to act like I already have it and know i shouldnt ‘learn’ in advance but its probably how I prepare for the worst.
I know compared to some who are waiting/have it , its probably a bit eye rolling but to be honest its hard to put it out of your mind when it’s so in your face, so to speak
