Hi Guys since the beginning of December i have been getting total numbness in completely different areas of my body (but mainly the whole of my back) it starts with pins and needles the goes completely numb for around 20 mins or so has anyone else had this issue? i have had ms now for nearly 8 years now and have never had this symptom before and i am worried about it

Hi Ben, I am sorry that I can’t offer you insight or reassurance but just letting you know you are not alone.
This disease loves to throw surprises at us. Just when you think there can’t be anything new to experience along comes yet another symptom.
I have had this pins and needles then numb feeling for years on and off.
This week just by coincidence my symptoms sound like yours.
Yesterday I had a very sudden weird pain/feeling in both elbows which was brief but left my lower arms without any power whatsoever. They are always a bit weak but this was total.
The numbness is like when you’ve been to the dentist and had injections…as it wears off the feeling is strange. That’s how I perceive my own " numbness"
I personally keep a diary of these types of symptoms/events just because my brain fog won’t remember when / how often etc.
I am sure others with much greater insights will be along soon to answer your question.
