Just found this thread.
I’m so glad your Neuro was so nice and is being proactive. I’m sure you’d rather not be admitted, but at least they are going to get you sorted.
I am not dx, but have had constant tingling/‘numb but not numb’ feeling everywhere from just below my waist downwards for quite a while now…and I mean everywhere! It’s a horrible feeling, especially when the tingling intensifies somewhat. I have also noticed that I feel as if I need to wee more than I used to. I have also noticed that my bowels have become very sluggis, although I have no idea if all this is related.
I really hope you get your problems sorted.
So sad for you for being admitted on the one hand but very happy on the other, that you’re being properly looked after
Wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully only a short stay

Hi everyone I recently had back surgery, but the dr.went thru the stomach and now my upper leg and groin and below my tummy is all numb. Why is that? I need answers
I have not suffered numbness here yet, but have been warned by both my gp and physio “to go to a&e as an emergency if this happens as it could be Cauda equina”. Get it checked xxx
I’ve had something similar to this; I went about a month feeling like I had a, well, dangler back there. I was almost like something was stuck half in/half out.
I get a numb pubis but also I get buzzing down there! My husband tells me it saves him a job!! Unfortunately the buzzing is not in the right area to be anything other than annoying!!!
I have a similar problem but I’m sure it’s nothing too serious. When I sleep at night I feel numbness on the outside of my vagina it gets really soft and due to that I don’t feel when I pee myself in bed and it’s something I can’t control because of the numbness. I can be up standing and peeing myself and not knowing until it run down my legs and when I try to stop the pee from running down my legs. It still continues. It’s something I really want to stop and something I can’t understand
Have you seen your gp? There’s medication that can help.
