Not diagnosed MS, doctors seem to not listen.

Little background.

While visiting Australia when I was 25, my vision began to blur. I left it putting it down to stress.

Then I had double vision. I left it for a week or so, again putting it down to stress

I woke up one morning with half my face dropping. After 10 days in the hospital and numerous amounts of tests they believed I had sclerosis (singular), the doctors told me if doesn’t happen again in 2 years unlikely to happen again.

To the present day, it’s now been 6 years.

2 years ago had awful hip pain and my leg seemed to drop, which I still have. 2 months ago my neck started to ache (assumed not sleeping right). 2 weeks ago, blurred vision. 5 days ago double vision.

I went to A & E on Sunday freaking out, told me to go home and stress.

I am still struggling to see, can it come back without treatment?

Did you have treatment years ago? I had double vision years ago -possibly my first symptom and that when on its own - keep on to the doctors, probably the only way to get answers

Yes I had steroids, I know your right. Guess feeling a bit lost at the moment.

Hello

I suggest you get an appointment with your GP, even a phone appointment. Talk through your history and ask for a referral to a neurologist. It is possible that it could be MS, equally it might not be. It could even be a vitamin deficiency causing your symptoms.

Sue

Thank you Sue for taking the time to message. I had a eye test today, he believes it’s a lension. Felt bad for him as he was scared to tell me. Nice to know someone recognizes something is wrong whether it is or not.

He has referred me to the GP. fingers crossed get some clarity.
