One day of feeling resentful in four years is hardly a mortal sin!
I think it’s natural to feel resentful at times - but also futile, as it isn’t anybody’s fault. If you don’t usually feel this way, I’m sure it will pass. Has anything in particular happened, or is it just the time of year (depressing weather, unrealistic expectations…)?

-my father used to say: Life is good if you dont let it get to you. Think he meant ignore all the sh.t and remember all the good times. Harder said than done though sometimes.
Indeed a life full of good things would soon become very boring (well thats what I keep getting told).
I wont give you any sh.t love, so can I join your fan club (:o) - see youve one follower eh.

Everyone is allowed an ‘off day’ so please don’t beat yourself up about it. Instead, take care of yourself, pamper yourself and above all be kind to yourself and you’ll be back smiling in no time. When you are then try listing all the good things in your life, the things you are thankful for - that way if you do have another ‘off’ day in the future it will be there to remind you of all the good things going on in your life. Until then, take care and look after yourself,

Hi Carole,
After 4 years and only one moan, that’s great, well done so don’t knock yourself for having a down day, we all have one or two at times, after all it is allowed (Hmm! don’t think it’s in the rules). Be kind to yourself and take care.

eldest son, jack - 25, just made me smile. i mentioned to him that i have an appointment later today.
he asked what for and where, (gp or consultant). i told him i was going to the bladder clinic cos i’m fed up of being a slave to my bladder. he said to tell him what they said to me because his bladder is going the same way!
i gave him that look (y’know - what!!! you’re far too young) and he said yea i’m a bloke and we always exaggerate our ailments.
i hugged him for being honest and for making me smile my first smile today.
so now i’m going to be aware of everything that makes me smile
