So sorry to hear you sad news. Lost my step dad very suddenly earlier this year so I do know a bit how you must be feeling. Look after yourself. Whatever you need / however you react, just remember to be kind to yourself. Take care. xx

So sorry to hear your sad news. I would guess that you are in shock right now and the grief will hit you at some point. It will get you when some silly little thing reminds you of something about her. I’m glad to hear that you have lots of support around you, that’s always a real help.
I lost my mum almost 2 years ago and we also knew she was very ill for several years. It was still a shock when it happened though. As time passes it becomes easier to remember the good times with smiles instead of tears. It’s a blessing to have so many good memories.
