ms hug ?

Hi

Thanks in advance for any help.

I’m experiencing a very sharp pain in the middle of my upper back and I’m also now feeling a dull ache in the centre of my chest.

Could I be experiencing the hug or is it more likely not to be ms related at all.

Thanks again.

Hello Anon,

It could be the ms hug, but there again it could be something else altogether. Have you had it very long, have you seen your gp.? You don’t say whether you have ms so it’s hard to tell. I would suggest that if you have been dx contact your ms nurse (if you have one) and if you haven’t been dx visit your gp. Sorry that’s the best I can advise. Others may well come along and give you more advice. Hope it feels better soon.

Hi Trish,

That can happen and often does, so do get it checked out if not by gp but by neuro.

Thanks everybody

No I’m not dx as yet. Have been having these pains in my back off and on for the past few weeks, along with many other symptoms at the same time. It doesn’t seem too bad during the day but hits me with a vengeance most evenings.

Off to see my gp tomorrow if I can get an appointment as I.m not due to see neuro again until December.
