I have MS. It is taking me an inordinately long time to recover from my chemo sessions. Is there any body out there who has similar immune deficiency and can reassure me that eventually I’ll be able to walk (almost) again?
Hi Andy, So sorry you’ve had cancer and still struggling. I had breast cancer 5 years ago. Thankfully did not need chemo but I had surgery and radiotherapy, and yes, took me forever to recover!!! I think it was a mix of the treatments, exhaustion from the daily hospital visits PLUS the stress of having cancer. BUT I did recover eventually!!! So hang on in there. Rest as much as humanly possible. Be kind to yourself and give your body time to heal. You have been through a huge trauma and recovery will take time.
