Hello I am just looking for some advice or knowledge with my results of MRIs I am 32 years old and just confused and googling doesn’t help. I’ve had 2 MRIs last year. The first MRI showed suspected demyelination and it wasn’t as thorough a scan hence having a 2nd scan. My 2nd scan has showed: "multiple T2 weighted white matter hyperintensitis affecting the periventricular and subcortical white matter with a reported new focus on the superior parasagittal left frontal lobe. There is an equivocal new focus within the left occipital posterior temporal lobe but it was difficult to be sure of this. So the Neurologist has booked me in to have a lumbar puncture. I have had treatment from the blood results for vitamin D. That was a 8 week course of liquid and now taking supplements everyday. I have an underactive thyroid and pernicious anemia. I found out I had oernicious anemia because I had visited the Dr 10 years ago with a numb left foot and at that time I was signed off work with “malaise” depression etc. During that time I was grieving my mother’s death and just trying to understand why I always felt so exhausted and down. I have had episodes where I have been told I have carpel tunnel. Ulnar nerve issues with my left arm. During my pregnancy I had pins and needles in my hands constant. Again I was mostly told carpel tunnel. After having my son I just haven’t been myself and have had multiple issues. I was diagnosed with pulsitale tinnitus with the 1st MRI, this is bearable and comes and goes. I don’t loose much balance but it can take my concentration away and disrupt sleep. It’s hard to understand my issues when having other auto immune disorders can be mistaken for what might actually be MS. I was just wondering is anyone else has these sort of results and what came from it? Thanks

GOOGLE is not a nuerologist and neither are we. It seems you are being well cared for and all the necessary tests are being performed. I wish they did not send these reports to patients as all it does is confuse them.
You have a huge amount going on, and any one of your issues could give you the same symptoms.
dont focus on MS you have enough to contend with at the moment, and try and feel confident with your doctor that he will give you the correct answers. enjoy your child. x
