Hi there, i open y new topic for this.
My mom leans always on the right side. Nothing helps, nobody knows what it is. some say it is spasm on this side. She also has very heavy back pain and developed a scoliosis. Does anyone experienced something like that and knows how to cure? She has physio-therapy for years, but nothing helped. Sorry for my bad english - i come from Germany.
Best greetings
Nini
Hi Nini
I have a tendency to lean to the right as well.
I’ve no idea why but it always happens on my way back from the shop.
It is so bad that a kind lady stops her car and picks me up.
embarrassing or what?
Sometimes a spot of gentle yoga stretches helps but yoga involving laying on a yoga mat is out of the question as I can’t get up from the floor.
Hopefully someone else will be along with more of an idea what to do about it.
I am having spasms in my ribs which are very painful but hey ho that’s life with MS.
Your English is fine by the way.

Thank you very much for your reply. My mom leans all the time to the right side, when the pain on this side is too much, she gets more and more to the right side. My question is: where does it exactly come from? “Normal” walking without sticks etc is not possible because of the false posture.
Thank you very much an have a nice year !

hey there, thank you very much for your answer. She uses the rollator since 1 year. But the pain is the worst thing on her status. If anyone knows, what´s the cause of her false posture, then let me know it! thank you , Nini
Same here i tend to lean to the right also if i am laid down propped up with pillows i end up falling to the right. Its so annoying.
Hi again Nini
I have found that hiking poles help me to maintain a good posture.
I think it’s because it helps me to look upwards.
I really don’t know if they will help your mum.
