Hi all. Recently been diagnosed with RRMS. Had my first episode in February. Symptoms were loss of speech and warmness in my right leg. Noticed in last week a some discomfort in my left leg, around my hip. Could this be a relapse? Very new to all this so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
It’s always hard to know to be honest, there’s not an awful lot that ms can’t affect. It makes you hyper vigilant about every little bloody twitch! The best people to speak to are your MS nurses, give them a quick bell and they’ll know the right questions to ask to get to the bottom of it.
MS nurses are always the first point of call. But also maybe you’ve been walking/moving around differently because of your right leg and that could have had an impact on your left. It’s really hard to know sometimes when you’re having a relapse unless the symptoms are very obviously new to you. The hot leg is an interesting one! Sorry to hear about the loss of speech, that must of been very scary. I hope it’s all short lived and you back to feeling relatively normal soon
