Would love to make new friends and go for coffee
Hi JessicaJane
As Ethan-Hawley suggests, I agree that it might be worth searching for a local group, I looked on the MSSociety website and found a seated exercise class near me
Being fairly newly diagnosed I’ve been in denial and done nothing for 2 years (apart from sitting eating all the wrong foods that is, with the inevitable consequence of gaining weight ha ha), and it took me 12 months to pluck up the courage to join. But…. It’s the best thing I’ve done, actually meeting others, face to face, who all have MS is phenomenal (not that I would wish anyone to join this club), I love the very gentle exercise, all geared to people with MS, we then sit and have a coffee and chat, it’s helping me more than anything else I think. I have a wonderful support network in my husband and family, but no longer feel as isolated having PPMS
If you can’t do that, then this forum is full of helpful MS’ers who give sound assistance I’ve found.
My best wishes to all, xx
