Hell, have you had a look to see if there are any MS Groups near you? Have a look under support and community on the Society main website

Hi Blastmaster_45671

As Hank_dog says take look on the MS Society website for groups locally, I did and I eventually plucked up the courage and joined a seated exercise class for those with MS, we do an hour exercise (talking our way through it helps :joy:), they have a monthly social get together too where they invite guests or we do activities to aid find motor skills etc. We had a fantastic Christmas lunch which was great fun.

The group has been amazing for me as I was struggling to cope with the life changes MS can bring but I’ve now made fantastic friends and am able to talk about my MS with people who know.
Definitely worth looking into, I wish you well. Anita

Just to add to my earlier comment and the one from @BlinkingMS I haven’t joined my local group but I know that they have regular ‘social’ meet ups. Usually in a pub with restaurant where they have general gatherings for a tea/coffee , cake etc and chat/catch up and maybe once or twice a month they will have a meal and sometimes a cocktail evening.
