Very beautiful pics! At the risk of having you all laugh hysterically at this American, do primroses really grow wild in England? I was shocked when I learned that fuchsia grows naturally in Ireland. You wouldn’t believe how much they cost to buy over here, not to mention how hard to find!

No laughing from me. The first time I visited Ireland I was really surprised by the wild fuscias. Primroses do indeed grow wild here, the wild ones are a pretty specific yellow. They are about the second wild flower to show themselves in the Spring. There is a bit more info here. Primulas and Primroses: Facts About Beautiful Spring Flowers - Dengarden.

Heres some positivity, a fox came to visit me such fab video, they have no cares whatsoever just where their next meal is coming from. It makes my heart soar everyday to see the amount of wildlife i have privilege to see outside my sheltered bungalow.

He was eating hedge hog food. He snatches and runs but does come back to eat 2 bowls of food.

Waiting for emergency team to take bloods as feet and legs swelling pray I don’t have to go back into hospital where personal care was non existent

Sue, sorry to hear you have been so ill. Hope you don’t have to go back into hospital. Let us know how you get on? This poor old world is in such a state. The animals haven’t done it. I consider mankind the biggest terrorist on this planet. When you thi k how we have raped and pillaged our resources…it really breaks my heart to think about it. I think this virus is Mother Nature’s way of sending us a message. Stop. Think. You may think that daft but hey… Nora’s Mum. You are not a daft American. How would you know these things if you have never been here? Cowslips also grow wild here. Wild orchids too. Just beautiful. Jackie, I hope yr purchases help you. Frightening when the old MS takes a turn for the worse…hope it stabilizes soon. Anne

so glad to hear that you are home. Even if you still feel grotty for me it is better to be at home.

Wishing you a full a speedy recovery from your additional challenges.

Mick

Not daft at all and read a few articles that support your view.

“We invade tropical forests and other wild landscapes, which harbour so many species of animals and plants – and within those creatures, so many unknown viruses,” David Quammen, author of Spillover: Animal Infections and the Next Pandemic, recently wrote in the New York Times. “We cut the trees; we kill the animals or cage them and send them to markets. We disrupt ecosystems, and we shake viruses loose from their natural hosts. When that happens, they need a new host. Often, we are it.”

No not cellulitis Covid has altered electrolytes. Because of weakness I can only move from sofa to commode so lack of movement- may need diuretic. Doctor needs to check heart and kidney before prescribing but apparently a few days wait.

we were unlucky our daughter is part of our bubble as she is a single parent with a 4 year old and she is a teacher and became ill. We didn’t know it was Covid but had to step into help. My husband caught Covid and I followed. Consider ourselves very lucky as my husband has COPD. We have not left our home and all shopping has been delivered. Shock to husbands system as I usually look after us both!

Thankyou Whammel. Anne
