ill with cold making symptoms worse??

hi all- again!!

Last 2 nights I’ve not been able to sleep. Got a cold and feel really full up. As I’m not diagnosed need some advice- being ill in general seems to have made all my symptoms worse- is this normal?

Got pain when moving my eye side to side- had on a few mths ago but was better.

Really painful cramps in legs and feet

Something new- feel like someone is squashing my ribs- just at the front, it doesn’t seem to affect my back.

Also, do you think it’s worth going to gp for the painful ribs as this is the worst- really quite painful and no let up.I have a neuro apt in a few weeks and before when I’ve asked my gp for anything he has stated I must ask my neruo- he will not prescribe anything.

If it’s MS, then yes, it’s normal for symptoms to be worse when you’ve got a cold or virus so hopefully your symptoms will improve as your cold does.

I doubt the GP will give you anything if he hasn’t in the past, but you could always try. Make sure and ask the neuro if you don’t get anywhere though.
