Ice legs

Hi all, does any one else have the feeling that your feet and lower part of your legs are so cold they feel like ice, and no matter wha t you do you can’t seem to get them warm, but them you get the feeling that they are burning up, does anyone have any solution to this, Any help or advice would be great.

Oh yes i hate it. One of the bizarre symptoms. I just have to wade through it as nothing seems to work. I usually get it during stress, or about to get a bladder infection.xx

I don’t have a solution but I wish I did! My feet go from iceberg to roaring fire in seconds and it’s so frustrating. I spend ages trying to warm them up, they really are cold to touch so it’s not just sensory but then when they do get warm they look a bit swollen and red and then they are way too hot! I do keep cooling spray by my bed as it wakes me up sometimes. I also keep a hot water bottle in the fridge so if it’s really bad it is worth going downstairs and fetching that because I find it hard to sleep when they are too hot. In winter I try to ignore it at night though because I ended up with chill blains when I put my feet out of the bed covers and they got too cold! My nurse didn’t have any answers either.

My feet always feel like they are freezing. Uggs are brilliant they make my feet feel pretty normal. They’re just so expensive and I must not lift my feet properly as I seem to wreck them quite easily. I hate not having my feet covered. My feet were completely numb had no feeling at all. So think it must be damage left over from that. When I have ‘adult’ time if my feets not under the blankets all I can think about is my feet and socks on is so sexy not lol. Going into bed at night I need the electric blanket on for an hour (handy it’s one that has 1 he or 9 he choice. As it makes them comfortable. I also feel like I don’t have fingertips. They feel like they belong to someone else.

Hi, I have a lovely warm blanket and wrap it around my legs and feet, which is fine until you get up and walk. Don’t have a real answer as even if you turn the fire up you still feel cold . Sorry not a lot of help afraid it’s just another thing to put up with. Janet x
