would be in the UK more than likely. Just really need a break n change of scenery

Deals mainly with new initiatives for providing supported short breaks, but the last paragraph gives contact details for possible financial help.

Hi, good luck. I used to get 13 nights a year, free respite. But it was stopped and given to terminally ill folk only.
I have asked my local council for respite funding and was told I may lose some of my existing funding for care, if I ask for more! So I left it!
