Hi, my mother suffers from ms and has recently has been declared unable to work. She does not seem to do much with her time and gets bored very easily. So I feel that if she had an interest or hobby she can start making the most of her days and possibly find her passion. She has difficulty with the left side of her body so arts and crafts will be quite difficult for her and struggles when reading. If anyone has any suggestions of any hobbies or simply activities she can do it would be a great help!
hiya
i started painting after diagnosis.
i had no great expectations as i cant even sign my name legibly.
but a paintbrush isnt a pen and i really got into it.
have you got a local community centre offering classes/activities?
its good that you are trying to find something for her.
loss of self esteem is a sad thing to go through so tell her that she’s fabulous!
we all need to hear that at least once a day.

I don’t know if it is going to work but I have decided to try to build my photography realised I could still do when in a wheelchair and use tripods etc. I have ordered myself a digital slr, I won’t know whether it is going to be a success. I got frustrated with my camera I had which I thought was good and realised in last week my phone takes better point and shoot. Hoping the new camera will give me more fun even if the pictures aren’t that good I will gets lots of pleasure playing around with the different settings.
