Help twitching

Well I’m stressing my self out. I been living with MS for 7 years now . But now I’m worrying Ive got als. When I laid still or sitting. I keep getting body twitching all over moving from spot to spot constantly . I’m wondering if anyone else has had this ?

Yes i get twitches all over when im at rest, I suspect i get them throughout the day but only notice them when it’s quiet. I think they are called myoclonic jerks and are common. Try not to worry about them, as that can make them worse. If you’re still concerned see your gp.

Thank you both for your reply’s. I was worrying because because some people say its not a symptom. I was getting Jerking of limbs a couple of months ago and twitching. I got myself stressed and had a relapse where all my right arm when week for about 2 weeks. Then I started getting twitching all over and I think I’ve got myself stressed again . With really bad fatigue just want to sleep all the time. And doing simple task just makes me ache and need to rest

Weirdly enough i was just outside and under my eye on my face started twitiching like mad lol…lasted on and off for about an hour. I wonder if it is because i am warm. I always get twitches from somewhere lol.

Hello Siyman

Muscle spasms is definitely a symptom. Have you been diagnosed?

Anthony

Is a muscle spasm a twitch though? Mine is little little tiny muscle twitches that move from my any part of my body within seconds

Hi Siyman,

Well, I’m not a doctor but I get a range of symptoms.

From a “leg jumping in the air” to “biceps twitching” and the sensation of “flesh crawling” that feels that I’ve got tiny worms moving around under my skin or in the muscles. In fact if I can’t explain a symptom as being caused by anything else I put it all down to MS.

Do you think that your sensation moves from one part of your body to another too quickly to be a physical reaction? I read yesterday that a signal travels at 200 mph through the nervous system. If you think that’s improbable compare that to the speed of electricity through a wire which is 3 million times faster.

Lewis Hamilton only does at 200 mph on the straight.

Looks a bit weedy compared to us.

Vrrroooooom,

Anthony
