Morning everyone, Just thought i’d share with you all a lovely place called Helsey Cottages, just outside Chapel St Leonards on the Lincolnshire coast.
We went for a long weekend a few weeks ago and it is fab, it’s aimed at people with disabilaties, all the doors are extra wide for wheelchair access, one of the cottages has a big wet room also there is a hoist available plus more.
The people that own the place are lovely too and can’t do enough for you, if you have children too there is a amazing paddock out the back with a bouncy castle, swings, trampolines and to top it off there is a out door swimming pool all free to use.
We have alays stayed in self catering accomodation when we go away so i’m used to packing everything but the kitchen sink but when we arrived i soon realised there was no need, everything is already supplied, there was kitchen roll, tin foil, washing up liquid evn a pint of milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the table.

We just wanted to let people know of this little haven as i know how hard it can be to find places that are wheelchair/disabled friendly
