i have just downloaded Now TV and watched the first episode of the latest series.
good to see that john snow (kit harrison) is still gorgeous.
alya still has her wolf.
the women are warriors as well as the men.
boudicca (poll) would be a good addition to the cast!

I haven’t seen the TV adaptation but I am reading the books. I was thinking of buying Game of Thrones on DVD when they complete it, but I’ve heard that “they” messed about with the story and/or characters. I suppose that this is one of the times when people are divided - print version or screen version. Besides, we have as little room for more DVDs as we do for more books. And, no, we do not want to subscribe to a streaming service.
Not so much ‘messing about’, it’s more a case that the TV producers know they have a fixed timetable that they have to complete the showing of the series and GRR Martin is taking forever to produce the next book so the TV series is now following its own storyline which differs from the books. Whilst the first series is strongly based on the first book, as the series have progresses the differences have increased.

Just binge watching the box set now up to series 4 last 2 episodes to watch tonight, have to limit ourselves or it all gets too much . Really good sex and violence and backstabbing what more could ask for .

I was hopping until the last moment, that after some people started a petition to refilm of the final episodes was signed by over 1 million people, but somewhere deep in my conscience I knew that this was not gonna happen sadly. I started to rewatch the first 4 seasons, which were the best in my opinion, and the series were freaking awesome. I completed a quiz on which game of thrones character are you, and for me it’s John Snow. This is really interesting, because my behavior is really similar to his.
