Feeling lost, scared and in pain!!

Hello i’m new to all of this, I have been reading your posts on here but only able to register today… I’m 42 and for the past year I have had really sore feet, it started last July then eased off a bit and then from Jan this year has become a huge problem for me. I am a nurse so i’m on my feet all day, I work long shifts (12 hours) with only 2 half hour breaks. by the time I get home I am in tears with so much pain in my feet and my legs. 3 weeks ago my right arm became numb and very week, I cant hold a cup of tea without dropping it… my right leg is also quite weak. I have had some dizzy spells which last for about 20mins 2 - 3 times a day. headaches and some pain behind my right eye. I have been to my doctor who has referred me to a Neuro and also requested MRI scan. To be fair my doctor is really great, he has even phoned me at home a few times to see if I am ok or any changes. my muscles in my arms and legs are cramping all the time and this sometimes keeps me awake at night. I am getting frustrated with waiting, the doc says that I should be having the scan by next week, I was thinking of going private for it?? How long does it take for a neuro app to come through?? my doc has asked for an urgent app… I am very confused at the moment… about 15 years ago I had a similar problem but without any pain… my doc is sure that I have MS?? Would be grateful for any advice and what to take for the pain? my doc has started me on Amitriptyline… Millie x
