Fabric or leather sofa - this is an ms question

Hi all What kind if sofa do you find is best for ur ms. I have an electric reclining leather sofa it goes out to like a bed but I’m finding and even before ms it hurts my back. My lounge sofa is comfier but not so easy to get feet up on. Was thinking a sofa would be better for lounging on for movies with kids and book time for me. I love the look of my sofas but I’m thinking a little extra comfort is more important now. X

simple answer from me-leather. easier for carers to clean the spills from the drinks and the pee from me!

Thanks Ellie, yeah with kids for me leather is definitely easier. I’m not peeing myself yet, I’ve the problem I don’t want to go a lot. X

oh aye-kids! i have 4 and a grand daughter! leather def easier… in fact one of mine is a sofa bed-handy when i am really poorly and cant get to the stairlift.

I’m for leather too (oops that sounds kinky!) with kids and animals much easier to keep clean. Does need treating occasionally though to keep it supple. So important to get comfort right I can’t sit on low chairs/sofas or rather I tend to flop into them and not be able to get up again.

Greetings,I’m the proud owner of an Electric Chair which does the reclining and raising routine.I get a superb hours kip on it when required and the tilt mechanism gets me from the prone position to attention in about 10 seconds.It is trimmed in a dark hard wearing fabric which is coping well with my soup juggling routine and the age old problem of ‘Marmalade behind the knees’. I have got the remnants of a pair of breathable waterproof kecks beautifully attatched in the appropriate area.A bargain at £500 and the mechanicals are of Stone Age technology so are simple and robust…They were the days!

Ells,great to see you in the General Population again,but I am intrigued by your Wrestling appointment.Nothing to do with tossing the caber or some other dubious Highland pursuit?

Leather sofa is the best option as you have kids at home. It is a better idea as it will help you maintain cleanliness as well as provide you with the comfort and coziness that you need! The one that I have at my home is leather sofa and I bought it from Coja by Sofa4 Life in Toronto. It is still in good condition and is easy tp be cleaned.
