Hi everyone I have an appt. with a Neurophysiologist for an EMG tomorrow, I wonder if anyone can tell me what EMG stands for and what does it test for and will I be given the results of the test then or will I have to wait.

They won’t give you the results there and then - they go to the neuro first.

Thanks Karen it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be, I thought they would stick needles in me but no. from what the man said I don’t think there is any problem there.
