So, obviously it worked.
Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V was technique used.

I have had a program in the recent past (MS memory being what it is, I cannot recall which one).
No security message, just a failure for copy-and-paste to work.

Suppose it could be worth trying to c-and-p from (say) Word, and then trying to do the same from Notepad to see if you get the same happening.
When all the fun of the “New avatar every day until Christmas” was going on, I had no problem copying cartoons from my archive into a message.
Now I have never used any special security settings - just a firewall.

And as I wrote the previous sentence, thought - are you accessing the forum from Firefox and hitting its own security settings (or those of another browser)?

l learnt to touch type when l was 11. Never used a typewriter or keyboard until nearly 50yrs later - and wow - it was like riding a bike. l can type very fast. Good exercise for the fingers.

They should teach children to touch type at school. Nearly everyone l know does the two-fingered method.

Hi Tina

Never thought of it in that way, so perhaps it’s better just to stick with making typos.

Thanks for pointing that out, I am so naive.

Just typed huge reply Lost in space. That’s why you write it in word and copy and past

Pam I was a reasonably good touch typist too, having been taught on the old typewriter by a mean old witch who used to put an apron over our keyboards if she caught us looking at our hands. I shake too at times but have found a tablet with the slide function from letter to letter very useful. The only downside being the spell checker that independently interprets what I want to say resulting in the most bizarre posts at times.

Fortunately I have MS and can blame most of it on brain fog, though I do feel bad at times when it appears that I’ve insulted someone.

We’re all doing very well thanks, enjoying the odd day when the sun shines.

Take care
