Sorry for posting this here but I didnt know where to ask this question.

Its a simple query,

How do we edit something that has already been posted ?

You canā€™t exactly. But you can delete your own post. So supposing youā€™ve just posted something and you want to change it, what Iā€™d do is highlight all of the text, ā€˜copyā€™ it, then delete it. Then I can start again by ā€˜pastingā€™ the original text and making changes.

If you delete something that people have subsequently replied to it can make for quite disjointed threads. So best for everyone to avoid that if possible.

I tend to click on ā€œpostā€, the realise my spelling is like a 3 year olds

I do exactly the same as Sue, but only if Iā€™ve just that moment posted. It really is curious how easily the typos and other assorted errors are spotted once weā€™ve clicked on the ā€˜sendā€™ button. Usually, in my case, itā€™s all down to crop toping and smelling.

An Edit button, for use within a certain time after posting even, would be so helpful! Pleeeeeeeeese? :slight_smile:

we did have an edit opttion for a little while,dont know why we donā€™t now though.
