Hi there,
Anybody tried this drug for their Nureopathic pain?
Had one tablet and during the night felt sick, cold sweats and shivering and even though it can cause drowseiness seemed to be awake half the night! Was fine after a afternoons nap and went out for a meal in the evening!
Spoke to GP the next day and she thought it could be a virus or the drug. To have a break from the drug and to try it again a few days later! As am a single parent I am now scared to try the drug again in case if happenbs again.
Any advice?

Hi Cindy, just googled the drug and read that it is used for pain, incontinence and depression…a bit like amitriptyline…I wonder how these meds work on several things…especially if someone has all 3 conditions!
Anyway, as you say, try it again and see what happens. Are you taking it for your leg pain hun?

Yes,I was!!
Now on Gabapentin 600mg 3 times aday. Got to the point it’s a waste of time taking them.
Still awaiting a call from the MS Nurse. Got the GP to take the lead and get in touch with her!
Thought of going back to the LDN tonight and see how that works. The leg pain has been quite intense these last few weeks, Maybe they didn’t like the car running over them!

Hi yes I tried it for neuropathic pain. I’m also taking Lyrica 600mg daily and Amytriptiline. The Duloxetine did seem to have an effect on the pain and also on my bladder problems. Also made me feel less anxious but I had terrible constipation and horrendous, lucid dreams. Also felt sick for the first week but that got better. I started on 30 mg and then went up to 50mg after a month. I came off after a few weeks as couldn’t live with the constipation and terrifying dreams. It’s worth a try. Good luck. : )
Sorry meant I went up to 60mg. : / Neuro has now increased my Lyrica to 900mg which is above the recommended maximum dose but it works for me and my pain is so bad.
