Trash tv, all Simon Cowell sees is £££
thankfully, apathy appears to be the watchword judging by the viewing figures. may they continue to deplete with haste!
Yes X factor is dreadful and Strictly is following the same path with all the ’ standing ovations’ clapping, whooping etc. it’s barely any better, time they got back to approprate music for the dances and got rid of the ‘comedy’ VT’s between the dancers, theme weeks and props. I am only interested in how Anita Rani is doing and at the moment she is being woefully undermarked
still she was on first so didn’t have to see the rest, just catch up on youtube - no nonsense that way ( none that you have to see anyway!)
Not only do I get xfactor & strictly & soaps, I get Peter Andre in concert that my georgeous beloved has got tickets for.
bring back porridge & blackadder. Thank the Lord for GOLD TV.

I can’t stand the X factor or Simon Cowell and his cronies but my 3 girls do but fortunately they are all grown up and have their own living rooms in which to watch. They also like big brother and Made in Chelsea and all the rest of the reality crap. OMG!!! I despair for them.

A man with awesome taste. Did you see Cradle to Grave? As modern comedy’s go, that made me chuckle. Turquoise and gold…
Totally agree! Can’t stand all the X-Factor palaver and the Strictly stuff isn’t grabbing me at all this year - in other years it has, but I can’t get into it at all this time around, and they kick up such a fuss about it every blasted week. Would quite happily join in a discussion on the LBW rule… my other 'alf doesn’t do sport in any respect. He doesn’t understand that in the last over of a test match, with six balls between us and getting the Ashes back (for example), I don’t need “just come and give me a hand with this… after all, you’re only listening to the radio, not doing anything important!”. I am female, btw… it ain’t always a strict gender divide, this sport thing!
Its about time they took it off,its more than run its course, i used to watch it when it first started as my daughter was still at home and she liked it, i used to like Dancing on ice, because i love ice skating.

That`s one benefit of going to bed after tea…I can watch whatever trash I want on MY telly and hubby has his in the lounge.
Both sorted!
I LOVE strictly, all medicals programmes and 8 out of 10 re-runs, Mock the Week…or my latest fad…the cruise shows…
