I’m so fed up with saying MS that I decided to give it a name. My family, friends & myself refer to it as Egor. I’ve decorated my walking stick with gold letters - FUMS & EGOR

So glad I’m not the only one. I have named my ms as I spend most of my life now trying to reason with it as though it’s a defiant child. So ‘her’ name is Agatha, (not so) lovingly referred to as Aggy for obvious reasons! Gotta laugh, crying will give you a headache!

Mine has been called ‘Fred’ since is was diagnosed with ‘An MS like demyelinating condition with chronic pain syndrome’ - even though I can now say - MS is…, I still say 'Fred is …".

Mine is called and pronounced like A MESS. Because I keep complaining that I am and look A MESS. I know, quite pessimistic. I also have a second name for it.
Biribiri.
It means gentle electric sock and tingling sensation in Japanese.
