If you do, our Grants Team would love to talk with you.
They’re looking for people with MS and carers to take part in focus groups we’re running in September. The sessions will explore what online tools and resources people affected by MS use when planning a break – and what’s missing. Your views will help us understand how we can improve the information and support we provide online.
They would particularly love to speak with people with MS who need higher levels of care and support – so if you would describe yourself as needing ‘constant’ or ‘frequent’ assistance, please get in touch. It’s important that participants have used respite care or other support services before.
Focus group sessions will last 2 hours (with lunch provided) and take place at the fully accessible Northalnds Day Centre in Bromley, south-east London on these dates:
- 21 Sept (Friday) morning session - With people with MS who need ‘frequent’ assistance
- 21 Sept (Friday) afternoon session - With people with MS who need ‘constant’ assistance
- 28 September (Friday) afternoon session - With carers of people with MS
Travel expenses will be reimbursed, as will the cost of any additional replacement care you need to organise to be able to attend.
If you’re interested in taking part, or you know someone who is, and you can make it to Bromley on the above dates, please contact Natalie Pink for more information on 020 8438 0805 or email shortbreaks@mssociety.org.uk.
