MS short Breaks

I thought some of you might be interested in taking a look at this place. It’s advertised in the Pathways MS magazine.

Our mother passed away last year at the age of 71, her name was Sue and she had MS ever since she was 40 years old. We have re decorated her spacious two bedroom bungalow from top to toe, it has Ramps, Wide internal doors a wet room, an electric hoist, grab rails and a self contained annex beside, plenty of parking off road. we are situated five miles from Ely in the beautiful Cambridgeshire fens, and wondered if we offered it as a respite or holiday home for people with disabilities such as MS, would there be any interest for this.

I’m sure there would. If you haven’t already, find a disabled holiday specialist website and get it registered with them.

Obviously, what suits one disabled person (whether with MS or something else) isn’t going to suit all.

We always have great trouble finding somewhere to stay for holidays and short breaks. We prefer self catering and something like this sounds ideal. I’m sure there would be a market for you, as Sue says get registered with one of the disabled holiday specialists and see how it goes.
