Residential Care for MS

Is there any Residential Care Homes that deal mainly with those who have MS? as when my wife goes into care to give us both respite the homes are not up to standard for my wife. She needs ceiling hoist rather than mobile hoist, profiling bed with air mattress. etc, etc.

Hi, what about the place called Woodlands, in York? It used to be owned by the MS Society. I believe it was sold, but still exists.

luv Pollx

ps do you know about the Bond hotel in Blackpool? I go there for mini breaks with my carers. They also offer holidays and provide care. They have all the gear we need.

I worked in a hospice. People came in for respite care, while their partner went on holiday.

Quite a few had ms and other illnesses

You’ll be amazed how happy the hospice environment is. The one I worked at, was run like an hotel.

Residents picked their own foods, they liked…favourite alcholic drinks…single en suite rooms.

Am I selling this
